Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the Telecoms & IT, Transport and Cement sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.88%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230), which rose 9.67% or 2.60 points to trade at 29.50 at the close. Qassim Agriculture Co. (SE:6020) added 8.59% or 0.70 points to end at 8.85 and United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:8190) was up 8.54% or 1.05 points to 13.35 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Int Petrochemical Co (SE:2310), which lost 5.70% or 0.90 points to trade at 14.90 in late trade. Herfy Food Services Co (SE:6002) declined 3.73% or 2.75 points to end at 71.00 and The National Shipping Co. (SE:4030) shed 3.70% or 1.50 points to 39.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 79 to 77 and 13 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $46.36 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.69% or 0.32 to hit $46.81 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.74% or 9.00 to trade at $1207.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.34% to 3.9720, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.41% at 101.41.
