Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.47%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 3.33% or 20.0 points to trade at 620.0 at the close. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) added 2.10% or 4.1 points to end at 199.1 and Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) was up 1.59% or 4.50 points to 288.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which lost 1.99% or 9.3 points to trade at 457.0 in late trade. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) declined 1.75% or 10.5 points to end at 589.5 and Nets A/S (CO:NETS) shed 1.33% or 1.80 points to 133.10.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 60 to 57 and 21 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.96% or 0.48 to $49.32 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.35% or 0.71 to hit $51.93 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.43% or 5.41 to trade at $1262.69 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.08% to 6.6574, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4390.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 97.30.
