Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Agriculture & Food and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 1.09%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SE:2300), which rose 10.36% or 1.15 points to trade at 12.25 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (SE:8180) added 10.14% or 2.45 points to end at 26.60 and Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) was up 9.80% or 2.00 points to 22.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE:8270), which fell 2.80% or 0.45 points to trade at 15.65 at the close. Anaam International Holding Group (SE:4061) declined 2.67% or 0.40 points to end at 14.60 and ALAHLI TAKAFUL COMPANY (SE:8130) was down 2.56% or 1.00 points to 38.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 115 to 50.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 2.53% or 0.80 to $30.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.17% or 0.38 to hit $32.19 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.04% or 0.50 to trade at $1119.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.22% to 4.0850, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7514.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.16% at 98.91.
