It invests in the fixed income markets of the Euro zone. The fund takes short positions and uses derivatives such as swaps to invest in Euro denominated, fixed-rate sovereign debt with a minimum maturity of one year. It invests in the investment grade securities that are rated as BBB- and above by S&P and Fitch and Baa3 and above by Moody’s. The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the Short iBoxx € Sovereigns Eurozone Total Return Index, by employing synthetic replication methodology. The index seeks to track the inverse of the daily performance of the IBOXX € Sovereigns Eurozone Total Return Index.
