The Nigerian Exchange Group Plc, through its subsidiaries, operates as a stock exchange in Nigeria. The company operates in three segments: Capital Market & Post trade Services, Strategic Investment, and Property management. It is involved in the regulation of various stock broking firms in Nigeria, as well as provides them with the facilities for the purchase and sale of bonds, stocks, and shares; and clearing and settlement of trades on the stock exchange. In addition, the company offers property letting and investment, property management, real estate development, financial advisory and consultant, capital market infrastructure, and regulatory services; and listing and trading securities, licensing, market data, ancillary technology, and other services, and acts as a nominee. The company was formerly known as The Nigerian Stock Exchange. The Nigerian Exchange Group Plc was incorporated in 1960 and is headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria.
