Mace Security International, Inc. manufactures and sells personal safety and security products to retailers, distributors, and individual consumers worldwide. The company offers non-lethal guns, gels, value kits, and personal sprays and alarms; tear gas enhance sprays, Magnum gels, and dorm room and realtor safety products; and bear sprays, runner and rideshare safety, vehicle and stun devices, and canine products. It markets its products under the Mace, Vigilant, Tornado, and Takedown brands through retailers, wholesale distributors, independent dealers, and e-commerce channels, as well as its website, www.mace.com. In addition, the company sells tactical spray products and systems to law enforcement, security professionals, correctional institutions, and military markets. The company was founded in 1965 and is based in Cleveland, Ohio.
