Titan Minerals Ltd (ASX:TTM, OTC:TTTNF) has unearthed more gold mineralisation in trench sampling at the Tomahawk gold discovery, part of the Dynasty Gold Project in Ecuador.

Tomahawk is a newly discovered target, identified earlier this year with reconnaissance soil sampling, and is yet to be tested by the drill bit.

Trenching has produced a sample of 5 metres at 5.0 g/t gold and 20.6 g/t silver at the discovery, with a higher-grade portion of 2 metres at 11.2 g/t gold and 33 g/t silver.

The results from Tomahawk follow high-grade trenching results from the Iguana prospect, also outside the current mineral resource, of up to 3 metres at 21.4 g/t gold and 14.1 g/t silver.

Resource growth potential

“It’s exciting that our exploration efforts are being rewarded with high-grade gold results from trenching in several of our newly identified exploration targets at the Dynasty Gold Project,” Titan Minerals CEO Melanie Leighton said.

“This latest result of 5 metres at 5.0 g/t gold returned from Tomahawk, along with the recent result of 3 metres at 21.4 g/t gold at Iguana South has proven the fertility of Dynasty over a 9-kilometre by 2-kilometre area.

“We now know that the mineral system encompasses a much larger area than the current 3.1-million-ounce gold and 22-million-ounce silver mineral resource.

“The revelation of a much larger mineral system bodes extremely well for us, feeding into our Dynasty resource growth strategy.

“We are expediting the development of further trenches over priority target areas, with a view to test many of these exploration targets in the upcoming ~ 10,000-metre drilling campaign.

“We look forward to delivering a steady flow of trench results over new targets in the coming weeks, and more excitingly we also look forward to delivering results from resource and exploration drilling programs over the coming months, as we work towards a Dynasty resource update in mid-2025.”

Titan says these results validate its exploration approach, offering a proof of concept that soil and rock chip sampling can reveal high-grade discoveries at Dynasty.

The company will continue trenching efforts over multiple regional exploration and resource extension targets, with the goal of developing a pipeline of drilling targets for its 10,000-metre drilling program ahead of the 2025 resource update for the project.
