Tempest Minerals Ltd (ASX:TEM) is gearing up for an airborne gravity and magnetic geophysical survey over the FiveWheels Base Metals Project in Western Australia, after securing approval for an exploration incentive scheme (EIS) grant to co-fund the exploration programs.
The grant will provide $230,000 in funding to support the program, which will take place in the 2024-25 financial year.
The FiveWheels Project
Tempest acquired the FiveWheels Project in 2023, a 266-square-kilometre area of granted tenure about 146 kilometres north of Wiluna, Western Australia, on the northern edge of the Earaheedy Basin.
The company says the project geology is similar to Rumble Resources and nearby Strickland Metals Ltd (ASX:STK) major base metals discoveries.
From here Tempest Minerals will move to finalise agreements and award contracts, plan collaboratively with stakeholders as to timing, and begin the survey.
