Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 2.80% to hit a new 3-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb), which rose 0.23% or 0.2 points to trade at 94.0 at the close. Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST:ATCOb) fell 0.51% or 1.1 points to end at 213.7 and Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) was down 0.90% or 6.6 points to 727.8 in late trade.
Biggest losers included H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which lost 5.07% or 8.7 points to trade at 162.3 in late trade. Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) declined 4.01% or 18.3 points to end at 438.3 and Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) shed 4.01% or 6.95 points to 166.50.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 601 to 74 and 34 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.09% or 1.53 to $71.64 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 2.18% or 1.81 to hit $81.28 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 2.52% or 30.10 to trade at $1223.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.93% to 10.4278, while USD/SEK fell 1.37% to 9.0118.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.35% at 94.89.
