Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Basic Materials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 1.85%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which rose 1.54% or 18.0 points to trade at 1188.0 at the close. Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) added 0.82% or 2.9 points to end at 356.0 and Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) was up 0.23% or 0.09 points to 38.99 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb), which lost 3.86% or 6.02 points to trade at 149.93 in late trade. Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) declined 3.60% or 5.45 points to end at 145.80 and Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) shed 3.01% or 0.30 points to 9.69.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 483 to 134 and 45 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.21% or 0.13 to $61.12 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.44% or 0.28 to hit $64.11 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.17% or 15.30 to trade at $1320.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.47% to 10.1700, while USD/SEK rose 0.03% to 8.2568.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 89.97.
