Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Telecoms, Consumer Services and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.36%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb), which rose 3.60% or 4.90 points to trade at 141.10 at the close. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) added 3.60% or 10.70 points to end at 307.90 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) was up 1.88% or 0.77 points to 41.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which lost 4.51% or 0.98 points to trade at 20.77 in late trade. Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) declined 3.59% or 1.40 points to end at 37.59 and ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) shed 1.76% or 3.1 points to 172.7.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 424 to 326 and 66 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.06% or 0.03 to $51.87 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.47% or 0.27 to hit $57.48 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.11% or 1.46 to trade at $1281.96 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.19% to 9.6354, while USD/SEK rose 0.39% to 8.1921.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 93.69.
