Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.16%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA), which rose 1.00% or 2.0 points to trade at 201.1 at the close. H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) added 0.87% or 1.9 points to end at 219.3 and Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) was up 0.85% or 0.19 points to 22.52 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa), which lost 1.27% or 2.8 points to trade at 216.9 in late trade. Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) declined 1.25% or 1.94 points to end at 153.66 and Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) shed 1.09% or 0.51 points to 46.49.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 408 to 324 and 80 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.18% or 0.09 to $51.01 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.23% or 0.13 to hit $56.48 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.24% or 3.12 to trade at $1290.68 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.11% to 9.5433, while USD/SEK fell 0.26% to 8.0533.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 92.87.
