Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Healthcare and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.01%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which rose 1.17% or 10.5 points to trade at 904.5 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) added 0.96% or 1.00 points to end at 105.20 and AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) was up 0.74% or 1.2 points to 163.1 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which lost 2.29% or 6.50 points to trade at 276.90 in late trade. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) declined 1.78% or 0.74 points to end at 40.76 and Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson B (ST:ERICb) shed 1.16% or 0.54 points to 46.02.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 376 to 342 and 82 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.56% or 0.75 to $48.98 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.11% or 0.60 to hit $54.87 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.43% or 5.70 to trade at $1327.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.09% to 9.5502, while USD/SEK rose 0.70% to 8.0273.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.51% at 92.36.
