Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 1.21%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were AB SKF B (ST:SKFb), which rose 2.94% or 5.0 points to trade at 174.9 at the close. Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) added 2.57% or 5.1 points to end at 201.7 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) was up 2.53% or 7.2 points to 292.3 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which lost 0.76% or 0.07 points to trade at 9.70 in late trade. Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) declined 0.68% or 0.8 points to end at 116.1 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) 0.00% or 0.00 points to 226.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 370 to 238 and 54 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.09% or 0.67 to $62.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.12% or 0.08 to hit $65.59 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.70% or 23.10 to trade at $1333.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.70% to 9.9755, while USD/SEK rose 1.23% to 8.0825.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.54% at 89.56.
