Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Industrials and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.75%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which rose 1.83% or 19.0 points to trade at 1057.0 at the close. AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) added 1.81% or 3.4 points to end at 191.6 and Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) was up 1.67% or 2.66 points to 161.66 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA), which lost 1.99% or 0.74 points to trade at 36.44 in late trade. Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) declined 1.83% or 0.33 points to end at 17.68 and Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) shed 1.68% or 3.40 points to 198.40.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 316 to 291 and 57 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.48% or 0.28 to $57.83 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.58% or 0.37 to hit $63.01 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.07% or 0.90 to trade at $1295.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.26% to 9.9029, while USD/SEK rose 0.47% to 8.3414.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 93.10.
