Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Consumer Services and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.51% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb), which rose 2.26% or 5.5 points to trade at 249.3 at the close. ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) added 1.98% or 3.5 points to end at 180.0 and Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) was up 1.37% or 1.6 points to 118.6 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE), which lost 2.48% or 4.40 points to trade at 173.00 in late trade. Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) declined 1.69% or 0.56 points to end at 32.58 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) shed 0.93% or 0.39 points to 41.50.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 393 to 336 and 70 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.60% or 0.29 to $48.36 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.93% or 0.50 to hit $54.34 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.28% or 3.70 to trade at $1332.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.48% to 9.5301, while USD/SEK fell 0.63% to 7.9619.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 91.84.
