Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Technology, Healthcare and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.41%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb), which rose 2.91% or 1.45 points to trade at 51.27 at the close. ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) added 2.44% or 4.1 points to end at 172.2 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) was up 1.68% or 4.5 points to 272.3 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb), which lost 2.53% or 7.3 points to trade at 281.7 in late trade. Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) declined 0.94% or 1.1 points to end at 116.4 and Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) shed 0.88% or 9.0 points to 1010.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 510 to 236 and 76 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.54% or 0.30 to $55.03 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.94% or 0.58 to hit $61.29 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.20% or 2.55 to trade at $1280.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.44% to 9.8948, while USD/SEK fell 0.29% to 8.4052.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 93.78.
