Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Basic Materials and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.36%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which rose 16.56% or 20.4 points to trade at 143.6 at the close. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) added 1.29% or 0.54 points to end at 42.31 and AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) was up 0.52% or 0.9 points to 172.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb), which lost 1.56% or 1.22 points to trade at 77.00 in late trade. Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) declined 1.43% or 1.6 points to end at 107.1 and Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) shed 1.15% or 6.0 points to 514.6.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 341 to 285 and 53 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.28% or 0.19 to $68.58 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.12% or 0.09 to hit $78.00 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.52% or 6.30 to trade at $1207.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.94% to 10.4192, while USD/SEK fell 1.49% to 8.9147.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.46% at 94.07.
