Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Telecoms sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.14%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which rose 5.52% or 5.25 points to trade at 100.30 at the close. Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) added 2.99% or 4.5 points to end at 155.0 and Atlas Copco AB ser. A (ST:ATCOa) was up 2.07% or 7.2 points to 355.2 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which lost 1.76% or 18.0 points to trade at 1005.0 in late trade. Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) declined 0.98% or 0.48 points to end at 48.72 and Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) shed 0.94% or 2.0 points to 211.6.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 469 to 279 and 68 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.13% or 0.59 to $51.45 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.53% or 0.89 to hit $57.26 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.57% or 7.32 to trade at $1290.32 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.40% to 9.6388, while USD/SEK fell 0.04% to 8.1417.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 93.04.
