Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Technology, Telecoms and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.12%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb), which rose 1.51% or 2.40 points to trade at 161.50 at the close. Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) added 1.38% or 0.80 points to end at 58.62 and ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) was up 1.08% or 1.9 points to 177.3 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb), which lost 2.05% or 5.4 points to trade at 258.6 in late trade. Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) declined 1.47% or 1.7 points to end at 113.7 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) shed 1.03% or 3.00 points to 287.90.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 328 to 288 and 45 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.23% or 0.15 to $64.12 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.06% or 0.04 to hit $69.42 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.63% or 8.50 to trade at $1330.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.04% to 9.8142, while USD/SEK fell 0.45% to 8.0147.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.42% at 90.27.
