Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials, Financials and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.12%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA), which rose 8.04% or 17.1 points to trade at 229.9 at the close. Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) added 2.67% or 2.3 points to end at 86.9 and Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) was up 2.27% or 3.70 points to 166.45 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb), which lost 1.90% or 1.31 points to trade at 67.67 in late trade. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) declined 1.72% or 4.75 points to end at 271.15 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) shed 1.66% or 2.3 points to 136.4.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 331 to 296 and 49 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 3.79% or 2.65 to $67.30 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 4.19% or 3.16 to hit $72.17 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.09% or 1.10 to trade at $1240.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.49% to 10.3328, while USD/SEK fell 0.69% to 8.8233.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 94.27.
