Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Technology, Consumer Services and Telecoms sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb), which rose 2.74% or 1.28 points to trade at 48.00 at the close. Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) added 1.14% or 2.60 points to end at 231.50 and Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) was up 1.01% or 0.7 points to 69.7 in late trade.
Biggest losers included SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which lost 2.25% or 0.89 points to trade at 38.74 in late trade. Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) declined 1.49% or 0.35 points to end at 23.15 and Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) shed 1.26% or 3.5 points to 274.8.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 397 to 321 and 91 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.75% or 0.37 to $49.66 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.47% or 0.26 to hit $55.88 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.81% or 10.32 to trade at $1285.22 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.10% to 9.5327, while USD/SEK fell 0.07% to 8.1141.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 93.51.
