Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Telecoms, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA), which rose 2.81% or 1.06 points to trade at 38.73 at the close. AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) added 1.68% or 2.8 points to end at 169.7 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) was up 1.26% or 6.5 points to 521.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which lost 12.87% or 3.36 points to trade at 22.74 in late trade. Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) declined 1.36% or 3.00 points to end at 217.90 and Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb) shed 1.16% or 1.50 points to 127.90.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 365 to 349 and 90 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.60% or 0.30 to $50.05 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.76% or 0.42 to hit $55.06 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 1.90 to trade at $1312.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.17% to 9.5354, while USD/SEK fell 0.09% to 7.9550.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 91.62.
