Sipa Resources Ltd (ASX:SRI) has farewelled company secretary Ben Donovan, passing the baton to mining executive Greg Fitzgerald.
The transition is official from today and Sipa took the time to thank Donovan for his contribution in an ASX announcement this morning.
Stepping in as company secretary, Fitzgerald is a Chartered Accountant who brings more than 30 years of resources experience to the role.
He’s had a hand in finance and administrative matters for a spate of listed resources companies, where he’s served as company secretary, CFO and a non-executive director in the past.
Before he entered the resources world, Fitzgerald worked for EY as a manager in the firm’s audit division.
The transition comes as Sipa progresses exploration across the Skeleton Rocks lithium-caesium-rubidium opportunity and its Barbwire Terrace joint venture with Buru Energy Ltd (ASX:BRU).
Beyond these projects, Sipa is also exploring a range of gold and base metal prospects in Western Australia, including the Paterson North Copper-Gold Project in partnership with Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO).
