Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Agriculture & Food, Transport and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.24%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Alinma Tokio Marine Co (SE:8312), which rose 9.61% or 2.20 points to trade at 25.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280) added 9.61% or 5.96 points to end at 68.00 and SABB Takaful (SE:8080) was up 6.84% or 2.81 points to 43.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Cable Company (SE:2110), which fell 3.99% or 0.38 points to trade at 9.15 at the close. AL JOUF CEMENT COMPANY (SE:3091) declined 1.81% or 0.27 points to end at 14.65 and Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210) was down 1.77% or 4.54 points to 252.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 95 to 71.
Shares in Alinma Tokio Marine Co (SE:8312) rose to all time lows; gaining 9.61% or 2.20 to 25.10.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.94% or 0.43 to $46.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.21% or 0.60 to hit $50.59 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.23% or 2.50 to trade at $1088.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.08% to 4.0863, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7521.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.11% at 97.93.
