Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrial Investment, Petrochemicals and Financial Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.43%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were AXA Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8250), which rose 6.41% or 1.36 points to trade at 22.58 at the close. Trade Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8170) added 5.81% or 1.30 points to end at 23.68 and Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) was up 5.76% or 1.10 points to 20.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Arabian Shield Coop Insurance Co (SE:8070), which lost 9.98% or 2.46 points to trade at 22.20 in late trade. Food Products Co. (SE:2100) declined 5.92% or 0.90 points to end at 14.30 and Bawan (SE:1302) shed 4.91% or 0.80 points to 15.48.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 116 to 54 and 13 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.44% or 0.30 to $67.36 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.26% or 0.19 to hit $72.20 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.18% or 2.20 to trade at $1225.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.31% to 4.3596, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7508.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.30% at 94.74.
