Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financial Services, Agriculture & Food and Petrochemicals sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.35%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311), which rose 9.86% or 2.36 points to trade at 26.30 at the close. Takween Advanced Industries (SE:1201) added 5.75% or 0.62 points to end at 11.40 and Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110) was up 4.94% or 0.70 points to 14.88 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Arab National Bank (SE:1080), which lost 2.36% or 0.80 points to trade at 33.05 in late trade. Yanbu National Petrochemical Co (SE:2290) declined 2.34% or 1.80 points to end at 75.20 and Samba Financial Group (SE:1090) shed 2.13% or 0.70 points to 32.15.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 88 to 77 and 19 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.13% or 0.84 to $73.27 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 2.16% or 1.70 to hit $77.16 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.28% or 3.50 to trade at $1251.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.04% to 4.4058, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 93.89.
