Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Insurance, Financial Services and Energy & Utilities sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.29%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were City Cement Co (SE:3003), which rose 6.36% or 0.67 points to trade at 11.20 at the close. Anb Insurance (SE:8011) added 4.33% or 0.51 points to end at 12.28 and Saudi Industrial Export Co (SE:4140) was up 3.98% or 10.60 points to 277.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included HSBC Amanah Saudi 20, which lost 5.03% or 1.55 points to trade at 29.25 in late trade. AXA Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8250) declined 3.11% or 0.79 points to end at 24.60 and Al-Jouf Agriculture Development Co (SE:6070) shed 2.89% or 0.90 points to 30.25.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 110 to 66 and 9 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.39% or 0.25 to $63.30 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.49% or 0.33 to hit $66.71 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.62% or 8.20 to trade at $1338.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.25% to 4.6218, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 89.65.
