Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Transport, Agriculture & Food and Multi Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.27%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Wataniya Insurance Company (SE:8300), which rose 8.64% or 2.06 points to trade at 25.90 at the close. BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE:8270) added 5.82% or 1.45 points to end at 26.35 and Jazan Development Co. (SE:6090) was up 4.97% or 0.70 points to 14.78 in late trade.
Biggest losers included United Int Transportation Company (SE:4260), which lost 4.11% or 1.15 points to trade at 26.85 in late trade. Saudi Company for Hardware (SE:4008) declined 3.88% or 4.00 points to end at 99.00 and Savola Group (SE:2050) shed 2.68% or 0.75 points to 27.20.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 114 to 62 and 10 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.21% or 0.11 to $53.14 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.42% or 0.26 to hit $61.82 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.30% or 3.70 to trade at $1242.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.09% to 4.2592, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7512.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 96.815.
