Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Petrochemicals and Real Estate Development sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.07%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (SE:2160), which rose 5.11% or 0.37 points to trade at 7.61 at the close. Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff .Co (SE:2270) added 4.80% or 4.80 points to end at 104.80 and Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE:8150) was up 3.13% or 0.70 points to 23.10 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co (SE:8290), which lost 3.80% or 0.64 points to trade at 16.22 in late trade. Emaar The Economic City (SE:4220) declined 3.39% or 0.32 points to end at 9.12 and Red Sea Housing Services Company (SE:4230) shed 3.00% or 0.48 points to 15.50.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 128 to 46 and 17 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.09% or 0.60 to $54.66 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.81% or 0.51 to hit $62.24 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.53% or 6.95 to trade at $1315.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.08% to 4.2922, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 95.498.
