Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Real Estate Development, Telecoms & IT and Financial Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 1.10% to hit a new 52-week high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Etihad Etisalat Co (SE:7020), which rose 4.42% or 0.82 points to trade at 19.38 at the close. Astra Industrial Group (SE:1212) added 3.79% or 0.72 points to end at 19.72 and Jabal Omar Development Company (SE:4250) was up 3.53% or 1.50 points to 44.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230), which lost 2.84% or 1.70 points to trade at 58.10 in late trade. Bawan (SE:1302) declined 2.35% or 0.40 points to end at 16.60 and Alinma Tokio Marine Co (SE:8312) shed 1.99% or 0.40 points to 19.70.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 109 to 58 and 16 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.69% or 0.51 to $74.36 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.46% or 1.14 to hit $79.21 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.37% or 4.70 to trade at $1254.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.27% to 4.3948, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7508.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.22% at 94.01.
