Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Media & Publishing and Telecoms & IT sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.95%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Industrial Export Co (SE:4140), which rose 9.99% or 7.20 points to trade at 79.30 at the close. National Industrialization Co (SE:2060) added 6.58% or 1.10 points to end at 17.82 and The Company for Coop. Insurance (SE:8010) was up 3.68% or 2.20 points to 62.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Takween Advanced Industries (SE:1201), which lost 7.66% or 0.74 points to trade at 8.92 in late trade. Saudi Public Transport Co. (SE:4040) declined 2.28% or 0.34 points to end at 14.56 and Saudi Steel Pipe Company (SE:1320) shed 1.92% or 0.46 points to 23.52.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 105 to 70 and 13 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.76% or 1.00 to $57.87 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.90% or 0.60 to hit $67.27 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.78% or 10.15 to trade at $1308.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.22% to 4.2420, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 96.708.
