Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Agriculture & Food, Building & Construction and Energy & Utilities sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.86% to hit a new 52-week high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213), which rose 8.38% or 1.46 points to trade at 18.88 at the close. United Electronics Company (SE:4003) added 6.08% or 3.80 points to end at 66.30 and Savola Group (SE:2050) was up 5.74% or 2.20 points to 40.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AXA Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8250), which lost 2.89% or 0.66 points to trade at 22.14 in late trade. Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8040) declined 2.77% or 0.80 points to end at 28.10 and Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280) shed 1.95% or 0.60 points to 30.10.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 106 to 63 and 17 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.29% or 0.19 to $64.56 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.14% or 0.86 to hit $74.43 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.03% or 0.40 to trade at $1297.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.20% to 4.3780, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 94.09.
