Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Real Estate Development, Petrochemicals and Industrial Investment sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.85%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company (SE:2350), which rose 9.87% or 0.90 points to trade at 10.02 at the close. Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (SE:2160) added 9.74% or 0.67 points to end at 7.55 and Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (SE:4300) was up 8.33% or 0.99 points to 12.88 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311), which lost 2.67% or 0.56 points to trade at 20.42 in late trade. Yanbu National Petrochemical Co (SE:2290) declined 2.59% or 1.58 points to end at 59.40 and Emaar The Economic City (SE:4220) shed 2.23% or 0.32 points to 14.02.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 104 to 79 and 3 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.29% or 0.16 to $56.12 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.60% or 0.37 to hit $61.59 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.66% or 8.40 to trade at $1257.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.09% to 4.4193, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7499.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 93.69.
