Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrial Investment, Petrochemicals and Transport sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.83%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which rose 9.95% or 1.74 points to trade at 19.22 at the close. Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) added 9.85% or 2.42 points to end at 27.00 and Saudi Transport & Investment Co (SE:4110) was up 6.17% or 2.30 points to 39.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SE:2300), which lost 3.91% or 0.50 points to trade at 12.28 in late trade. Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8120) declined 3.60% or 0.50 points to end at 13.40 and The Company for Coop. Insurance (SE:8010) shed 2.12% or 1.10 points to 50.70.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 144 to 31 and 10 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.90% or 0.54 to $60.73 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.41% or 0.99 to hit $71.17 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 0.80 to trade at $1205.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.63% to 4.2259, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7511.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.50% at 97.22.
