Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Financial Services and Agriculture & Food sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.58%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co (SE:1304), which rose 4.77% or 0.82 points to trade at 18.00 at the close. Saudi Steel Pipe Company (SE:1320) added 4.47% or 0.98 points to end at 22.88 and Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff .Co (SE:2270) was up 3.83% or 4.60 points to 124.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Al Mashaar REIT (SE:4337), which lost 2.80% or 0.22 points to trade at 7.65 in late trade. Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050) declined 2.17% or 0.28 points to end at 12.64 and The National Shipping Co. (SE:4030) shed 2.08% or 0.60 points to 28.20.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 127 to 49 and 15 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 2.92% or 1.69 to $59.52 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 2.79% or 1.79 to hit $65.95 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.67% or 9.45 to trade at $1409.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.35% to 4.2173, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 96.838.
