Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Transport and Retail sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.40%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Aljazira Takaful Taawuni Company (SE:8012), which rose 9.88% or 2.86 points to trade at 31.80 at the close. SABB Takaful (SE:8080) added 7.65% or 2.15 points to end at 30.25 and ALAHLI TAKAFUL COMPANY (SE:8130) was up 4.23% or 1.57 points to 38.65 in late trade.
Biggest losers included United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:8190), which lost 2.61% or 0.40 points to trade at 14.90 in late trade. Saudi Telecom (SE:7010) declined 2.11% or 1.53 points to end at 71.00 and Saudi Real Estate Co. (SE:4020) shed 1.93% or 0.41 points to 20.78.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 116 to 58 and 3 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $50.44 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.07% or 0.04 to hit $55.51 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.29% or 3.88 to trade at $1325.42 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.23% to 4.4802, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 91.65.
