Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Telecoms & IT, Real Estate Development and Insurance sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.31%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which rose 9.87% or 2.25 points to trade at 25.05 at the close. Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8040) added 8.38% or 2.45 points to end at 31.70 and Eastern Province Cement Co. (SE:3080) was up 4.50% or 0.98 points to 22.78 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311), which lost 41.98% or 14.40 points to trade at 19.90 in late trade. Saudi Company for Hardware (SE:4008) declined 2.73% or 2.80 points to end at 99.60 and Wataniya Insurance Company (SE:8300) shed 2.70% or 0.70 points to 25.20.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 92 to 83 and 12 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.86% or 0.44 to $50.71 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.63% or 0.38 to hit $59.77 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.22% or 2.75 to trade at $1247.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.02% to 4.2645, while USD/SAR fell 0.04% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 97.018.
