Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Petrochemicals and Cement sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.22%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311), which rose 9.93% or 2.24 points to trade at 24.80 at the close. Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210) added 8.77% or 7.90 points to end at 98.00 and Arabian Shield Coop Insurance Co (SE:8070) was up 4.32% or 1.15 points to 27.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:8190), which lost 3.38% or 0.48 points to trade at 13.74 in late trade. Arab National Bank (SE:1080) declined 3.33% or 1.10 points to end at 31.90 and Alinma Tokio Marine Co (SE:8312) shed 2.51% or 0.54 points to 21.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 94 to 78 and 13 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.33% or 0.94 to $71.47 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.05% or 0.80 to hit $76.94 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.24% or 3.00 to trade at $1256.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.40% to 4.3507, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7510.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.37% at 94.71.
