Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Petrochemicals and Financial Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.11%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Steel Pipe Company (SE:1320), which rose 6.55% or 1.32 points to trade at 21.46 at the close. Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE:8150) added 4.78% or 0.98 points to end at 21.50 and Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213) was up 4.06% or 0.69 points to 17.70 in late trade.
Biggest losers included The Company for Coop. Insurance (SE:8010), which lost 9.92% or 7.94 points to trade at 72.10 in late trade. Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280) declined 9.82% or 2.94 points to end at 27.00 and Mouwasat Medical Services Company (SE:4002) shed 4.63% or 8.63 points to 177.60.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 121 to 63 and 5 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.65% or 0.44 to $67.49 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.87% or 0.64 to hit $72.72 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.73% or 9.50 to trade at $1315.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.19% to 4.4907, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 92.37.
