Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Building & Construction, Hotels & Tourism and Energy & Utilities sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.02%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were SABB Takaful (SE:8080), which rose 5.13% or 1.00 points to trade at 20.50 at the close. Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co (SE:1304) added 3.24% or 0.54 points to end at 17.20 and Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (SE:8180) was up 2.67% or 0.36 points to 13.82 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Mouwasat Medical Services Company (SE:4002), which lost 3.19% or 2.90 points to trade at 88.00 in late trade. Middle East Healthcare Co CJSC (SE:4009) declined 2.50% or 1.05 points to end at 40.90 and Saudi Arabian Mining Company (SE:1211) shed 2.50% or 1.40 points to 54.70.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 102 to 71 and 14 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.08% or 0.05 to $65.06 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.45% or 0.32 to hit $71.08 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.24% or 2.90 to trade at $1182.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.20% to 4.2630, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 96.50.
