Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.74%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 7.41% or 185.0 points to trade at 2680.0 at the close. Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) added 0.41% or 80.0 points to end at 19700.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) was up 0.20% or 2.0 points to 996.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupoaval (CN:GAA), which lost 1.94% or 25.0 points to trade at 1265.0 in late trade. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) declined 1.81% or 25.0 points to end at 1355.0 and Cemargos (CN:CCB) shed 1.68% or 200.0 points to 11680.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 23 to 6 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was down 0.22% or 0.28 to $128.92 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 2.49% or 48.00 to hit $1876.50 , while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.92% or 11.29 to trade at $1212.01 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.32% to 3089.37, while BRL/COP rose 0.90% to 941.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 95.77.
