European Bank for Reconstruction and Development will invest 25 million euros ($27.78 million) in convenience stores chain Zabka, which belongs to private equity fund CVC Capital Partners, Puls Biznesu said.

The share of Poland's biggest power producer PGE PGE.WA in the country's electricity generation will increase to 42 percent after the utility takes over France's EDF EDF.PA Polish assets, Parkiet daily said.

Poland's coking coal producer JSW considers acquisitions that would help it increase output, Parkiet daily quoted JSW acting CEO as saying. The paper also said, quoting unnamed sources, that JSW could be interested in private coal firm Prairie Mining Ltd PDZ.AX or its Debiensko project.
PLAY
Mobile operator Play has picked up DM PKO and BZ WBK to help it conduct planned IPO, which could be one of the biggest private share offers ever on the Warsaw bourse, Parkiet daily said quoting unnamed sources.
ALIOR BANK ALRR.WA
Polish lender Alior Bank to resume its shareholders meeting at 1030 GMT which may vote on changes in the supervisory board.
