BOGDANKA LWBP.WA , ENEA ENAE.WA

Potential takeover of the miner Bogdanka by the state-run power firm Enea has been one of many ideas considered in the treasury ministry, which oversees power and coal industries, Parkiet daily said on Saturday quoting unnamed sources.

Enea's spokesman quoted by the daily said that there have not been any decisions that would concern such an involvement.

ENERGA ENGP.WA

Most likely it will be difficult for the power group Energa to repeat its 2014 financial results this year, Parkiet daily quoted the company's CEO Andrzej Tersa as saying.

PIS

The main opposition party PiS' candidate for the Prime Minister Beata Szydlo was quoted by Polska the Times as saying that it plans to create around 1.2 million jobs in ten years and spend one trillion zlotys on Poland's development.

GREECE

A prolonged Greek crisis is the worst scenario from the point of view of Poland, the Prime Minister's chief economic adviser Janusz Lewandowski was quoted as saying by Polska The Times.

Lewandowski also said that adopting euro is Poland's obligation when it is possible and sensible, but not at present.

EURO

The question when Poland should adopt euro is a question of Polish households purchasing power and the power of the economy, so that Poland does not end up as a subordinate economy, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna quoted adviser to Poland's incoming president as saying.

COAL

Two Australian companies Prairie Mining and Balamara Resources, as well as Poland's Kopex plan to build three new coal mines in Poland, despite the local industry's problems on the back of low coal prices and high production costs, Gazeta Wyborcza said.

RANKOMAT

PZU's Link 4, private equity fund Enterprise Investors and British insurance price comparison website Confused have been admitted to run a due diligence in Rankomat.pl, Poland's biggest insurance comparison site, Puls Biznesu said quoting its sources.
