Investing.com – Peru equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Banking & Financials, Mining and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Lima, the S&P Lima General lost 0.06%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the S&P Lima General were Panoro (LM:PML), which rose 7.06% or 0.018 points to trade at 0.273 at the close. Candente Copper (LM:DNT) added 4.94% or 0.0040 points to end at 0.0850 and Relapasa (LM:REL) was up 4.35% or 0.010 points to 0.240 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Atacocha (LM:ATB), which lost 3.15% or 0.013 points to trade at 0.400 in late trade. Empresa Agroindustrial Pomalca (LM:POM) declined 2.26% or 0.003 points to end at 0.130 and Minsur (LM:MINi) shed 2.21% or 0.030 points to 1.330.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 20 to 13 and 11 ended unchanged on the Lima Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 2.83% or 1.34 to $48.63 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.04% or 0.02 to hit $53.20 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.08% or 14.32 to trade at $1344.72 a troy ounce.
USD/PEN was unchanged 0.00% to 3.2360, while EUR/PEN unchanged 0.00% to 3.8545.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.31% at 92.28.
