Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Auto & components, Commercial Service And Supplies and Healthcare Equipment & Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.92%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were DnB ASA (OL:DNB), which rose 0.82% or 1.4 points to trade at 165.3 at the close. Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) added 0.64% or 0.8 points to end at 118.0 and Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) was up 0.60% or 0.70 points to 116.70 in late trade.
Biggest losers included TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS), which lost 5.51% or 18.0 points to trade at 308.5 in late trade. Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) declined 4.54% or 9.60 points to end at 201.80 and Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) shed 3.90% or 13.00 points to 320.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 129 to 58 and 26 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.32% or 1.74 to $73.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.96% or 1.67 to hit $83.33 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.06% or 0.70 to trade at $1192.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.29% to 9.4733, while USD/NOK fell 0.70% to 8.2098.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 95.09.
