Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Auto & components, Materials and Telecoms sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.89%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which rose 1.15% or 0.11 points to trade at 9.22 at the close. Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to end at 208.4 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) was down 0.06% or 0.01 points to 17.10 in late trade.
Biggest losers included BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG), which lost 6.76% or 2.17 points to trade at 29.93 in late trade. Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) declined 2.58% or 4.7 points to end at 177.7 and Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) shed 1.97% or 2.3 points to 114.4.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 110 to 58 and 28 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.81% or 0.40 to $49.16 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.40% or 0.21 to hit $52.49 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.87% or 11.13 to trade at $1290.43 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.18% to 9.3391, while USD/NOK fell 0.12% to 7.9462.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 93.39.
