Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Food, Beverages & Tobacco, Consumer Durables And Apparel and Auto & components sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.87%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG), which rose 6.76% or 1.98 points to trade at 31.28 at the close. Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) added 1.27% or 0.52 points to end at 41.32 and REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) was up 1.24% or 0.01 points to 1.06 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO), which lost 5.18% or 4.25 points to trade at 77.75 in late trade. Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MHG) declined 3.67% or 5.70 points to end at 149.80 and Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) shed 3.45% or 1.7 points to 47.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 104 to 68 and 35 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.32% or 1.28 to $56.42 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 2.00% or 1.23 to hit $62.59 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.98% or 12.55 to trade at $1290.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.66% to 9.7247, while USD/NOK rose 0.46% to 8.2437.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 93.58.
