Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Consumer Durables And Apparel, Food, Beverages & Tobacco and Auto & components sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.86%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which rose 4.86% or 0.67 points to trade at 14.47 at the close. Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) added 0.90% or 1.9 points to end at 213.6 and BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) was up 0.55% or 0.17 points to 30.90 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO), which lost 5.16% or 4.00 points to trade at 73.55 in late trade. SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) declined 3.89% or 9.50 points to end at 235.00 and P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) shed 3.58% or 12.90 points to 347.70.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 102 to 71 and 33 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.17% or 0.09 to $54.39 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.17% or 0.10 to hit $60.59 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.28 to trade at $1277.02 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.15% to 9.4851, while USD/NOK fell 0.21% to 8.1345.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 94.62.
