Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Technology Hardware & Equipment, Telecoms and Energy sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.68%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which rose 2.47% or 1.60 points to trade at 66.35 at the close. P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) added 2.21% or 8.20 points to end at 380.00 and DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) was up 1.90% or 0.20 points to 10.73 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which lost 7.91% or 1.45 points to trade at 16.89 in late trade. Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) declined 2.76% or 1.15 points to end at 40.59 and TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) shed 2.59% or 4.9 points to 184.6.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 100 to 70 and 36 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.04% or 0.02 to $50.44 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.09% or 0.05 to hit $55.95 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.14% or 1.78 to trade at $1276.12 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.34% to 9.3435, while USD/NOK fell 0.46% to 7.9443.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 93.30.
